The Holocube Room at the Dibner Library

The Holocube: NYU’s Dibner Library has launched a virtual-reality sandbox room called “The Holocube,” which currently houses the HTC Vive Virtual Reality system with a large variety of educational and recreational games to be played on it.

Reservations for the Holocube Room will become available on LibCal starting on October 2nd, 2018.

ARIS

ARIS: an open-source platform for developing (and playing) mobile games, tours, data collection activities, and interactive stories by way of GPS and QR Codes. Using a mobile device, players are able to “experience a hybrid world of virtual interactive characters, items, and media placed in physical space,” as well as engage in social interaction around individual collections.
